Coffee Is One of My Favorite Things

I love coffee.  It can be iced, a cappuccino, hot, flavored, a latte or even just coffee flavored what ever it's amazing.  My favorite is Dunkin Donuts.  Having grown up and spent most of my life in New England, there is a Dunkin Donuts I swear every 100 feet!  My sister and I went up to see our Dad for Father's Day we passed four of them just leaving the airport!  Down here in Florida, there are as many and there isn't one convenient to my home.  There are lots of Starbucks, don't get me wrong, I do like  it, but if I could choose it would most definitely be Dunkin Donuts.

I didn't have a contrasting pattern paper to match the yellow check and the blue denim, and it's just way too hot to go anywhere, so I decided to make my own matching paper.  I took the little flower bouquet from the Papertrey Ink Vintage Picnic stamp set and randomly stamped it on some white cardstock.  Then, using Prismacolor Pencils, I colored the the little flowers to match.  I did a little paper piecing to the coffee cups.  I accented the card with a pretty blue flower and added the perfect sentiment.

Love Wins

I haven't decided who I am going to give this card to, yet.  This horrible tragedy took place not too far from where I live and six of my fellow team members at work.  I had a doctor's appointment that next day (one block down from the club), the roads where all closed and both law enforcement and the press where everywhere.  The outpouring of support from around the world has been overwhelming.

My Mom shared this video from the Orange County Sheriff's Office on Facebook, and it most definitely put a smile on my face, and I hope it puts one on yours as well:
