Best Witches

Just working on a few Halloween treats.

I made the little bag/box using my Scor-Pal.  The witch's shoes were cut using the 2 x 2 Witch Shoe Quickutz Die.  The stockings were cut out free hand.  I just added some glitter paper punch circles to give them a little spooky texture.  The skirt was made using two layers of flat lace that I gathered and adhered to the bag of the with some Score-Tape.  I only had flat lace on hand, but when I made more I will buy the gathered lace.  The top of the bag was folded down, punched with a border punch, and then I stamped the sentiment.  Using my Crop-A-Dile, I punched holes in the top and threaded some ribbon through and tied it into a bow.

Ink:  Versafine
Paper:  Bo Bunny, Bazzill, Recollections
Misc:  Ribbon, lace, paper punches, pop up dots, Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape, Quickutz Witch Shoe Die, Crop-A-Dile

Reindeer & Snowman Triangle Treat Boxes

Here is a quick little project I whipped up to give to my regular guests at work.   I used the Inky Antics Triangle Treat Box to make the box.  Each box holds three Hershey Kisses.

The Snowman is made from a variety of punches.  I put it in a little plastic treat bag and made a tag using one of my most favorite sentiment stamps from Dandelion Designs.

The Reindeer is also made from a variety of paper punches.  His/her antlers are made using the leaf from the Cricut Doodlecharms Cartridge.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Dandelion Designs-Sweet Christmas Wishes
Paper:  Bazzill, Recollections
Ink:  Memento
Misc:  Paper punches, pop up dots, white gel pen, black Sharpie pen, ribbon, paper shred, treat bags, Hershey Kisses, Cricut Doodlecharms Cartridge

Uncle Sam On A Stick!

Here some party favors for your 4th of July picnic parties!  Using a variety of paper punches and Nestabilities, I created this Uncle Sam.  He is a larger version of  this project I made last year.   I used the Inky Antics Triangle Treat Box stamp, I made the small triangle box.  Then, I adhered a bamboo skewer inside the box.  The box was filled with Fire Ball candies, and tied closed with ribbon.  Uncle Sam was attached to the front of the triangle box with some foam tape.  To complete the project, I tied a big bow on the stick.  Easy peasy!

Candy Tote

While I was surfing the paper craft blogosphere, I found this great tote tutorial on Mushi's blog. She has the cutest stuff. I decided to use the Great Impressions September stamps to make a unique halloween trick or treat candy tote.

The tutorial is available here on Mushi's blog. I used the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch and some rhinestones to embellish the witch's cauldron. It's hard to see, but I used glitter on their hair to make it look a little wiry.

Supplies:
Stamps: Great Impressions-Witches, Inky Antics-Sentiment
Paper: Bo Bunny, Recollections
Ink: Memento, Versafine
Misc: Crop-a-dile, paper punches, ribbon, clear acetate, rhinestones, copics, glitter

I used to be snow white...

I love these vintage papers by Graphic 45. They remind me of the movie, "Road to Perdition", with Tom Hanks and Paul Newman. The fashions of the women during this period were really cool, I think I could have been a mob mole in my previous life!

I found this quote on-line, (somewhere, I don't remember!), and it pretty much describes what I'm thinking right now! I thought it was a perfect match for this cute Inky Antics stamps. The sentiment is computer generated. I'm also totally hooked onto making flowers with this Martha Stewart punch. I haven't tried the larger ones yet, the small ones just seem to be the perfect size accents for my cards. I added a little gold stickles to her shoe.

Supplies:
Stamp: Inky Antics
Paper: Bazzill, Graphic 45, Reflections
Ink: Palette Noir Black
Misc: Stickles, half pears, MS punch, pop ups, copics, corner rounder
