Again, I used some of my favorite techniques...stamping, die cutting, fussy cutting and paper piecing.

Happy Birthday and Cupcakes!

I saw this wicked cute card on Pinterest and I decided that I needed to make it as well.  It is perfect for using up small scraps that you might have laying around.

While I love Mariana's card, I decided to make a few changes to give it my own personal flair.  The card is actually three layers.  I stamped the sentiment onto the card, then mounted it onto a brown piece of card stock which I attached the card base with with some foam tape.  After I cut the cupcake border out, I accented some of the frosting with Stickles and Diamond Glaze.

With A Little Help From My Friends

One of my co-worker's Grandmother passed away this week.  Our manager said she would go buy a card that we could all sign, but I said that I would make one.  I don't have any sympathy stamps, but after I went through my stash, I thought this one was perfect.

I stamped the jar and then masked the stems.  The stems were colored with Copics.  Using the dies and paper punches, I cut out all of the flowers.  The sentiment is attached with pop up and dots.  I punched two hearts out, folded one and glued it to the center of the other heart.

Paperback Snowman

There is a special celebration in town this weekend, and it inspired me to make these boy wizard inspired snowmen.  I love to read, but since I got a Kindle, my books are just get dusty.  So, I decided to re-purpose them into something fun!

What  I love about these guys is that each one is different.  From their size/shape, their hand crocheted scarves and witch hats, each one has it's own personality.

"Berry Christmas" Coffee Gift Baskets

I've been absolutely in love with all of the tiny coffee cups on Pinterest.  I finally ordered some and decided to make some little gift baskets with the berry baskets I found on clearance at Michaels.

So, my little basket is decorated with a die cut doily and pretty paper bow.  Inside the basket you will find a set of two peppermint patties and the tiny cup decorated with images from Papertrey Ink's Tiny Christmas Treats.  In the little cup, I stuck a K-Cup inside to get the party started!

I thought they would be great to add a gift card to the basket as well.  I've always like the light blue and red color combination.  With the snowman, you could use this a winter birthday present or just a way to keep your bff warm!

Mini Mason Jars

Last weekend I sold some of my homemade goodies at craft fair with my sister, Laura, and our Mom.   Laura and I decided that we would do Secret Santa and stocking stuffer type crafts to make/sell.  Mom brought some of her knitted hats and other handmade knit items that she made in her knitting group.  It was about 80 degrees that day, so guess who sold the most!  Our Mom with her knitted hats!   We had a really good time and ate some really good fair food.

 I found these mini mason jars at Michaels (last summer!) and I finally got around to "tricking" them up.  I used a variety of paper punches to make this happy little snowman.  I used the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder to give the tag a little dimension.  Of course, I had to fill it up with some candy!

Thanksgiving Treat Holders

These treat holders will certainly make your Thanksgiving more festive.  I combined my love of paper punching, "Cricuting", and of course sweet treats to makes pop holders.  They don't need to be just for lollipops or cake pops, they are great to hold little gifts or use as place card holders.

Of course, I can't make just one....I had to make a whole bunch!

Skeleton Treat Bags

No "bones" about it, these are some scary treat bags!  

I used my Cricut and the Cricut Craft Room to make the skeletons.  The head and hands were made using the Human Body digital cartridge.  The bones were cut out using Create a Critter.  The bones did not have a shadow feature.  So, I assembled the arms and hands then adhered them to some black cardstock.  Then, I cut around the arms/hands by hand.  The body parts where adhered to a glassine bag.

The pumpkins were paper punched and a small sentiment  onto the front.  A little baker's twine bow finishes the project!

Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead!

I wanted to make some little Halloween treats that where a little different from the usual candy treats.  Don't get me wrong, I love candy, but I wanted to try something a little more unique.  Hostess products were buy one get one free at the grocery store so I figured that I should get them and give it a try.  Unfortunately, they don't make the Ding Dong packaging the same as when I was young.  I remember that they were wrapped in silver foil, but now they come in a white plastic package.  So, I opened it up and wrapped it in a piece of tin foil.

Then, using my Cricut, I cut out my witch's legs and hat.  The sentiment was computer generated and then paper punched out and mounted.  I also punched some little bats out of black glitter paper and added them on for a little extra "scary".

Happy Birthday Patriot Style!

It's Sunday, so that means it's time for some football.  One of the things I miss the most about New England (besides my Dad, of course) is the smell of fall and the way the sun starts to set on the football field.  I like to watch the the player's shadows on the field, it's really a neat thing.

Today is a perfect day to share some New England Patriot themed  birthday cards I made for my Dad and stepmother.  The little player and his cheerleader were cut using my Cricut.  I used my Papertrey Ink Modern Alphabet Dies to personalize each card.  My favorite stamp company, Dandelion Designs, provided the perfect sentiment.

Germs Are Scary!!!!

I found these ginormous bottles of hand sanitizer at Target on the clearance rack (a few years ago!)  and decided to dress them up for Halloween.  I had originally planned to use the Frankenstein's Face cut from the Cricut Store, but I couldn't find any green vinyl anywhere.  When I want to do something, I tend to want to do it now, so I'm not a patient person who can wait to get something online!  I had the black, white, and silver vinyl to do most of the face, but then I just made a half oval mouth in the Cricut Craft Room.  I moved the stitches to over his eye, so hopefully will no one will notice that he does not have a nose!  

For the tag, I downloaded the sentiment from Eighteen25.  I cut it out and mounted it on a rectangle of black cardstock.  I added a paper punched pumpkin and then tied it to then eck of the bottle with some black tulle.

I am going to give this to my sister for her new classroom.
