Home Sweet Home

I love to make 3-D items, especially ones that can hold a little gift. I've finally gotten around to using my Home Made stamp set from Papertrey Ink. Once I got the hang of these little houses, they were very easy to make. My first one is now in the dumpster, Big Oscar (one of my cats) stepped on it like he was Godzilla! The template is from Lauren Meader, My Timeless Templates, also from Papertrey Ink. The little flower stamp in the window boxes and on the grass is a stubbie stamp from Stamps by Judith. I used popup dots to make the flowers stand out and cut the grass by hand.

This is the back of the house.

I love the pink and brown color combination. I'm still working on my photography skills, so you can't see the pink very well, just pretend that you see it's a light pink!

Someone I know has decorated her house in purple and green, so I decided to make a mini house with those colors. To see the surprise in this little house, just take the roof off, and tah-dah! For a small box, it really holds a lot of stuff.

Thanks for stopping by.

Another Candy Box!

I decided to make another candy box with some pretty paper that I got the CHA in Orlando.

Thanks for stopping by. Watch for my next post, I'm really excited about the way my project came out. To quote the great Ron Burgundy, "Stay Classy".

Welcome To My Blog!

I am so excited about my new venture! After years of crafting and sewing, I am proud to share my creations with everyone. For my first post, I was inspired by this little candy box made by Katie at ClearlyiStamp. While I used her pattern for the box top and bottom, I did make a few changes. Instead of using the Labels One Nestabilities, I cut the decorative top and bottom with my Cricut. Katie used a little button as a handle on the top, I opted to use some of my stamps from Dandelion Designs. A little ribbon, some crystal bling, and of course, chocolate you have the perfect gift for that special someone in your life. By changing the sentiment, you could use this for any occasion. With Mother's Day right around the corner, its a "sweet" way to say thank you to all of the "Moms" in your life.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will be back soon to see what I have been making. Please be patient with me while I figure out the best ways to take pictures and post!
