Christmas Tea Bag Pouches

Michelle Wooderson (Mish Mash) made these adorable paper bag pouches. She calls them "Pretty Pouch". Check them out here. I absolutely love them, and thought I would try them myself. I saw this cute little poem about Christmas Tea and thought they would be perfect together. They were pretty quick to make up. I used the Tea for Two set by Papertrey Ink and the new matching dies. It was so much easier than trying to cut the little tea pot by hand, though I need a little more practice lining up the stamp on the die cut. Some of them are a little "off". I can't remember if it was my Mom or Grandma Maggie that said that is how you tell it's homemade. After I finished the first one, I wondered if they would fit in a square envelope. Wouldn't you know it, they did! Bonus for me, what a great non traditional Christmas Card! Whoda thunk it?

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink-Tea For Two
Ink: Versafine
Paper: Martha Stewart, Bazzill
Misc: Half pearls, pop up dots, ribbon, Tea for Two dies, buttons, bakers twine, lunch sacks, sewing machine, paper punches, paper doily

Thanks for stopping by,

Beth

  1. Oh please, please can we get a tutorial? I have a sleeve of 500 brown bags (I'm seriously not kidding) that my SIL got from work and these would be too perfect for the girls in the PTO at school. LOL, I love your projects, Beth, keep them coming. Happy Thanksgiving!
